A table of assorted French pastries

Boulangerie & Pâtisserie · Est. 1986

Baked by hand,
before the city wakes.

A small neighbourhood bakery where the ovens are lit at four, the butter is real, and every croissant is folded by the same hands that opened the door this morning.

Bonjour

A little corner of Paris,
on your street.

Maison Margaux began with one oven, one recipe book carried across the Atlantic, and a stubborn belief that bread should be made slowly. Three decades later we still bake everything in-house, every single day — nothing frozen, nothing shipped in, nothing rushed.

Our story

Baked fresh daily

Two bakes a day, from 6am and again at noon. What doesn't sell is given away — never kept overnight.

Ovens lit at four

Lamination, proof and bake happen overnight so the first tray is golden by the time you arrive.

Pure French butter

82% butterfat, cultured and slow-churned. It is the single most expensive thing we buy — and the most important.

The way we work

Slow dough,
honest hands.

We keep a sourdough starter that's older than the shop, ferment our baguettes for eighteen hours, and laminate by hand because a machine can't feel when the butter is right. It is slower. It is more expensive. It is the whole point.

"A good loaf doesn't need a marketing department. It needs time, a hot oven, and someone who cares whether you come back."

— Margaux Laurent, founder

Maison Margaux: a bakery website template

A warm, editorial multi-page website template for an independent boulangerie and patisserie, with four palettes, hand-built pages and baked-by-hand storytelling.

What's built in

  • Six real pages: home, menu, about, the baker, order and catering, visit
  • Favourites showcase and a story-led homepage
  • Catering and celebration-cake enquiries
  • Live open and closed status with directions

Who it's for

Bakeries, patisseries and cafes that want a site as crafted as what they bake.

Make it yours

This template is a starting point, not a finished site. We rebuild it around your business with your name, photos, products, hours and copy, set up so customers find you on Google Maps and in AI search.

From $800, one time. Most sites go live within 7 days of getting your content, and you own it outright.

Questions about this template

Is Maison Margaux a real business?

No. Maison Margaux is a demo business we invented to show the template working with real-looking content. When we build yours, every name, photo, price and address is replaced with your own.

How much does a bakery website like this cost?

Website builds are a one-time fee: Basic $800, Standard+ $1,000 or Custom $1,500. There's no required monthly fee to us, and you own the site outright. Our SEO, AEO and GEO package ($250 on its own) is free with every build. See services and pricing.

How long does it take?

Most sites go live within 7 days of getting your content: your logo, photos, hours and the details of what you sell. Nothing publishes until you say it's right.

Will it show up on Google and in AI search?

Yes, that's the point. Every build ships with clean page titles, schema markup, fast mobile pages and a Google Business Profile tune-up, so you can be found on Google Maps, in answer boxes and by AI assistants like ChatGPT.
