"Red Dragon" Japanese Maple

Acer palmatum 'Red Dragon'

Dave's pick this week. The Red Dragons just hit their peak burgundy — that deep wine red they hold from May straight through October, when they turn coppery. Slow-growing, compact (8 ft mature), perfect for a courtyard or as a feature near a stone wall.

Every year somebody asks why our maples are pricier than the ones at the chain. The short answer: ours are grafted, theirs are seedlings. The long answer takes about six paragraphs and involves cell-pack economics.

Three plants that love a wet Oregon May.

If you've been staring at your soggy yard wondering what to put in, here's the trio Dave and I plant ourselves: astilbe, Siberian iris, and ligularia. None of them mind cold feet, all of them put on a show.

Make it yours

This template is a starting point, not a finished site. We rebuild it around your business with your name, photos, products, hours and copy, set up so customers find you on Google Maps and in AI search.

From $800, one time. Most sites go live within 7 days of getting your content, and you own it outright.

Questions about this template

Is Ridgeline Garden Center a real business?

No. Ridgeline Garden Center is a demo business we invented to show the template working with real-looking content. When we build yours, every name, photo, price and address is replaced with your own.

How much does a garden center website like this cost?

Website builds are a one-time fee: Basic $800, Standard+ $1,000 or Custom $1,500. There's no required monthly fee to us, and you own the site outright. Our SEO, AEO and GEO package ($250 on its own) is free with every build. See services and pricing.

How long does it take?

Most sites go live within 7 days of getting your content: your logo, photos, hours and the details of what you sell. Nothing publishes until you say it's right.

Will it show up on Google and in AI search?

Yes, that's the point. Every build ships with clean page titles, schema markup, fast mobile pages and a Google Business Profile tune-up, so you can be found on Google Maps, in answer boxes and by AI assistants like ChatGPT.
